Welcome to New Bridge Cafe, a beloved gem nestled in the heart of Chelsea, Massachusetts. Located at 650 Washington Ave, this unverified barbeque joint stands out for its inviting atmosphere and a menu brimming with American classics. With a long-standing reputation, New Bridge Cafe captivates both locals and visitors with its delightful offerings and warm hospitality.

As you step into New Bridge Cafe, you're immediately enveloped by a sense of familiarity. Diners like Rich Y. fondly recall their experiences here, emphasizing how it feels like home. The cafe checks all the boxes: exceptional staff, prompt service, and a menu that delights all the senses. Highlights include the combo platter, featuring succulent steak tips and flavorful sausage paired beautifully with crispy fries.

Food enthusiasts will be thrilled to discover signature dishes that have earned rave reviews. The baby back ribs, a signature staple, promise tender perfection, while the steak tips are often described as "out of this world." For those seeking lighter options, the refreshing salads and house-made dressings offer an equally tempting experience. As noted by another loyal diner, Susan J., the dressing is "unbeatable," making salads a must-try.

But it doesn’t stop there. The turkey kebabs are marinated to perfection, and customers have the option to grill them to their liking at home. For a cozy meal, try their clam chowder, which Frederick D. S. praised as a delightful start to the main course. Whether ordering the ziti with marinara or the house rice, every dish is crafted with care, utilizing fresh ingredients and special herbs that are a house secret.

The atmosphere at New Bridge Cafe is as appealing as the food. It strikes an ideal balance between comfortable dining and friendly service. As Alexandra A. expressed, the vibe is warm and welcoming, making every visit feel special. With clean facilities and ample parking, it’s a hassle-free spot for family dinners or casual catch-ups.

In conclusion, New Bridge Cafe is more than just a dining location—it is an experience that evokes comfort and satisfaction. New Bridge is one of those places that when you go back to after a long time, it feels like home. It checks all the boxes! Great staff, service, food and drinks. It has been the same way since my first visit a long time ago. I got the combo platter. It was their steak tips, sausage and I debated myself for awhile but took the fries. The whole meal was fantastic as I always remember it being! This place is a quick ride over the Tobin. Stop by and enjoy!

Everything here is amazing. The state tips are out of this world. Their salads and dressing are one of my favorite reasons for going there. I also enjoy having the turkey kebabs, they're all marinated and ready to cook. You can also get some to take out and cook yourself at home the waitress staff is small very busy But very accommodating. Try it you'll like it.

Steak tips ALL the way. If you ever need a good steak tip in Boston, New Bridge Cafe is your spot. I went with my family and we ordered so much off the menu-- everything sounded so good! I got the chicken parm with linguine. I love their red sauce and they definitely aren't skimping out on the chicken. Yowza! Look at the size of that thing. My dad got a sausage with salad and loved every bite of it. My mom got the chicken parm with a side salad made with their house dressing. I had a bite of her salad. Absolutely delicious. My sister got the chicken parm /eggplant parm combo and she says she liked the eggplant even more than the chicken parm! We got an order of streak fries for the table which is the large wedge fries with steak tips. I love how this place is timeless. Definitely gives off old school stomping grounds energy, and it's full of Boston memerobilia which you always love to see.

An old local spot that I used to come to with my family when I was growing up - nothing has changed, in a good way! It's got that old dive bar feel to it but the steak tips are another level. Come hungry if you plan on getting the steak tip dinner like me and my wife did. It was really crowded when we got there but luckily got seated right away and there was convenient parking behind and across the street. Very happy with our dinners and will be sure to come back again....a local gem, don't miss out if you haven't been here before!
